##### Job Description :
This Full Stack Developer position requires in-depth knowledge of both front-
end and back-end web application development. They will work in support of the
Center for Computational Toxicology & Exposure (CCTE). CCTE is a scientific
organization working to support Agency decisions by providing solutions-driven
research to rapidly evaluate the potential human health and environmental
risks due to exposures to environmental chemicals and ensure the integrity of
the freshwater environment and its capacity to support human well-being.
The role entails consistent interactions with clients at the EPA, on a large
team, distributed across six locations in the U.S. The successful candidate
for this role must be responsive to customer needs and inquiries, escalating
them when necessary. The selected candidate must be capable of self-direction
with assigned work tasks as well as being comfortable and familiar with best
practices in remote work. This is an ideal opportunity for a mid-level to
senior-level developer who wants to grow into a lead role. The candidate must
be able to work approximately 8am to 5pm EST to align with the CCTE team work
day.
##### **Responsibilities:**
· Create documentation for projects, bug fixes, etc., received from clients
· Communicate effectively with customers to design, plan, and develop large
scale projects from the ground up
· Work on projects that vary from monolithic builds to microservices
· Set up databases from scratch with minimal assistance
· Build back ends using Java, that can be utilized as APIs/services
· Build front ends using Vue, React, and other frameworks/templates
· Lead small teams of developers throughout the SDLC
· Work in Agile/Scrum environments that include standups, JIRA boards, 2 weeks
sprints, etc.
##### **Required Qualifications:**
· Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science Degree
· Minimum of 10+ years of related professional IT experience
