* \- Users generate highly valuable data on their cell phones which has substantial monetary value. We enable users to take ownership of their data, build a data asset, and earn from it which can subsidize and/or make the cell phone plan free. This same approach can be applied to smart home devices, cars (which are computers on wheels these days), etc.
* The data asset can be used by hedge funds to evaluate market performance better than the best trader.
* Hence we are building a new economic model enabled by the data generated by devices.
So, by pivoting towards a world where users are in control of their own data,
we are helping them convert that data into assets. As a new asset class, this
will power the Open Web and decentralized AI, a movement we are proud to
drive.
At the forefront of global data privacy regulations, we have conceptualized a
new category we call Data-Trust-as-a-Service (DTaaS). Our mission is to
decentralize AI data access by connecting data publishers with data consumers
in a decentralized network and marketplace. We envision a decentralized AI
future driven by user-owned data, ensuring a private, secure, and personalized
experience.
We already have an intelligent solution and platform, we have strategic
partners with leading Tier 1 enterprises and now we have product distribution
in place. Several large companies have already pre-paid for our platform,

**So, the tech**
This is a 2 product suite: one is a consumer app which enables users to build
user-owned data assets. This is facilitated by a Personal Privacy AI Agent to
help users in real-time create a private, secure, trusted and surveillance-
free experience across the Open Web and decentralized AI. And, who acts as a
digital guardian to protect, service and act in the interests of the user. Our
AI Agent is managing users’ data privacy preferences, protecting information
they share with companies, and enabling them to monetize their information.
Our second product is a decentralized Large Action Model (LAM) which as an
analytics dashboard provides companies with actionable insights based on user-
consented data across the Open Web and decentralized AI.
**The tech we are leveraging**
1) Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE):
-Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP): We leverage ZKP to allow users to prove the validity of their information without revealing the actual data. This enhances privacy and security by ensuring that sensitive information remains confidential even during verification processes.
-Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE): FHE enables computations on encrypted data without needing to decrypt it first. This means that data can be processed and analyzed while remaining secure, ensuring that user data is protected throughout its lifecycle.
2) Decentralized Data Broadcasting:
-Secure Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Distribution Network: Our infrastructure uses a secure P2P network to distribute data efficiently and securely. This decentralized approach reduces the risk of data breaches and enhances the robustness of our data distribution system.
-Blockchain Technology for Data Storage: We employ blockchain technology to store user data assets. The immutability and transparency of blockchain ensure that data is securely recorded and tamper-proof, providing an additional layer of trust and reliability.
3) Decentralized Identities (DIDs):
-User Data Security: By utilizing Decentralized Identities (DIDs), we provide users with unique digital identities that are cryptographically secure. These DIDs allow users to authenticate themselves and manage their personal information without relying on a central authority.
-Empowering User Control: DIDs give users control over their data, enabling them to grant and revoke access as needed. This decentralized approach to identity management ensures that users maintain ownership and control over their personal data, enhancing privacy and security.
4) Decentralized AI / ML:
-Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning: We integrate decentralized AI and ML techniques that allow models to be trained on encrypted data or across distributed networks without compromising user privacy. This ensures that personal data remains secure while benefiting from advanced analytics and insights.
-Federated Learning: Our systems employ federated learning, enabling AI models to be trained across multiple decentralized devices or servers while keeping the data localized. This approach enhances security and efficiency, as data does not need to be centrally aggregated.
-Distributed AI Model Deployment: We deploy AI models across a decentralized network, leveraging the computational power of multiple nodes. This not only enhances the robustness and scalability of AI applications but also ensures that no single point of failure can compromise the system.

As CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of DataHive. You
will be responsible for leading the technical vision, building the core
architecture, and assembling a world-class engineering team. This is a ground-
floor opportunity to define a new category, work with cutting-edge
technologies, and make a significant impact on the global data privacy

-Define and lead the overall technical vision and roadmap for DataHive.
-Implement secure and scalable decentralized protocols for data exchange and verification.
-Integrate blockchain, cryptography and AI/ML technologies to enable trusted data provenance and intelligent data utilization.
-Build APIs, smart contracts, decentralized apps (dApps) and responsive user interfaces for our platform.
-Develop and deploy AI/ML models and applications on Google Cloud Platform.
-Collaborate across teams to transform product requirements into robust technical solutions.
-Contribute to code quality, security reviews, and architectural decisions.
-Design and implement a secure, scalable, and robust platform architecture leveraging Web2 and Web3 technologies.
-Build and manage a high-performing engineering team (partially outsourced).
-Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive technical roadmap.
-Collaborate with the co-founders and advisors to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities.
-Prioritize security as a core tenet of the platform.
-Develop and implement a clear and efficient technical hiring strategy.

**Who are you? In free form:**
You understand Web3, Decentralized AI / ML and Decentralized Identifiers
(DIDs).
You are a self-starter, motivated to build, with strong expertise around data
and AI. You understand what it takes to build B2B and B2C solutions. You can
stand tall and debate your ideas, holding your ground if you have opinions
that are confronted, not afraid of being challenged.
You don’t have to have been a CTO before, but you have interacted heavily with
a variety of technologies and you understand how they operate and how to bring
it all together.
You know how to manage teams in an early stage start-up, either from
experience or through heavy googling (kidding. Building your team here is
crucial, so don’t apply unless you understand how to do this well. You will
need to build a team from 5 to 50 in a matter of months).
Technically speaking, you need to be a hands-on coding full stack dev. If you
don’t believe an engineer can be an expert on both front-end and backend,
let’s debate!
You have experience in project management.
You have experience in Machine learning and AI.
You have worked in an Agile and virtual environment and can handle a remote
work culture.
You know how to think through architecture, roadmapping, DevOps planning.
You are adventurous in general anyway, you have either already sky dived or
skied down a scary hill or layed out for a frisbee on questionable surfaces.
Logistically, you either live in the Bay area now, or you are willing to
travel there less than 50% of the time.

-Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and deploying applications on cloud environments.

-Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
-Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/deployment practices
