Position: VP of Software Engineering / Cofounder

Position Overview:
As the Senior IT Executive and Cofounder of BleedIO Tech, you will be the
driving force behind our technology strategy and execution. This role is ideal
for a self-starter who thrives on setting their own goals and achieving them
with minimal oversight. You will be responsible for communicating the software
and technology strategy to the executive team, ensuring alignment with
business objectives, and working in sync with other departments to deliver
innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Vision and Strategy: Develop and execute a forward-thinking
technology strategy that aligns with BleedIO Tech’s business goals.
Communicate this strategy effectively to the executive team and other
stakeholders. Deliver the application for Windows and/or Android. Work
together with IOS team.
Product Development: Lead the development of netMESH and other IoT software
solutions, focusing on C++, C#, and Node.js as the core tech stack. Ensure
products are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
Self-Directed Leadership: Set your own goals and timelines, driving the
technology team to achieve key milestones without the need for
micromanagement. You will be expected to take initiative and lead by example.
Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing engineering team,
fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Communication: Regularly update the executive team on the progress
of tech initiatives, challenges, and future plans, ensuring all efforts are
aligned with the company’s vision.
R&D and Innovation: Lead research and development efforts to explore new
technologies and maintain BleedIO Tech’s position at the forefront of the IoT
industry.
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure
technology efforts are in sync with overall business strategy and operational
needs.
Security and Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of robust security
measures and quality assurance processes to maintain the integrity and
reliability of all products.
Budget Management: Manage the technology budget effectively, ensuring optimal
use of resources to meet company objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a senior technology leadership role.
Strong expertise in C++, C#, and Node.js, with a deep understanding of
decentralized network architectures and BLE mesh technology.
A self-starter with a track record of setting and achieving ambitious goals.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex
technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
Strategic thinker with experience in R&D, innovation, and managing technology
budgets.
Passion for IoT and a deep understanding of industry trends and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Experience in fundraising and investor relations.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
