NOTE: Income will be 30% of revenue or awards generated. Upon funding and/or
signficant revenues, base is expected to be $100-132k Base ($150-250k OTE) +
1-3% Equity + Benefits.
As VP of Gov't Sales, you own the entire go-to-market strategy with regards to
Federal or State governments, to include non-dilutive funding/grants such as
SBIRs.
As one of our first critical hires, you’ll be ground-floor with the Founders,
so having a Founder/entrepreneurial mindset is critical.
The most ideal candidate has proven and accomplished experiences in the
following:
* Government sales, especially to the DoD
* Writing SBIRs/STTRs
* Writing responses to RFPs, BAAs, CfWPs, etc.
* Different funding vehicles and colors of money
* CMMC, ATO, FedRAMP
* Entrepreneurship or early-stage SaaS tech startups
* Enterprise cybersecurity sales and partnerships (especially with VPNs)
* Recruited, led, and trained sales teams
* Executed full sales cycle
