What we are looking for
We are seeking a capable and strategic VP of Finance to lead our company’s
financial operations and guide us towards profitability and long-term success.
The VP of Finance will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and
controlling all financial-related activities, including business planning,
budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.
Our ideal candidate has a robust financial background, can be strategic but
also gets their hands dirty, has strong leadership skills and an ability to
manage the financial health of our company.

Who You Are Responsibilities
Initiate and monitor a system of internal controls designed to provide
structure and guidance for all financial activity and reporting.
Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance including weekly
snapshots for CEO, monthly closing reports for the Board, quarter close
reports and participate in quarterly Board meeting preparation
Main financial point of contact for the BoardMain point of contact for
Investors for their quarterly reporting needs.
Primary partner to Chief of Staff in Board meeting preparations and all pre-
season budget planning work
Evaluate workflow processes, recommend and implement procedural and systems
changes to deliver best-in-class financial support
Actively analyze and manage enterprise risk – credit, insurance, controls
(SOX), and business operations.
Recommend changes for continuous improvementManage relationships with outside
support providers, including banking, tax, insurance, and audits – financial
and regulatoryResponsible for managing all AR and AP.
Manage 3rd party bookkeeping team Oversee and manage company’s financial
systems and budgets
Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper management
Key partner to CoS and Head of Sales in quarterly revenue forecasting and
connecting dots between revenue outlook and expense impacts
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulations/ laws and company policies
Coordinate investment and divestment strategies
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operationsManage Cap
table in Carta or similar platform.

Qualifications
Proven experience as director of finance or similar role
Accounting & controlling –proficient in accounting and financial management
principlesIn-depth knowledge of B2B Tech SaaS finance and accounting
principles, laws and best practices
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
Expert in Excel and financial management software including Quickbooks Online.
Familiarity with Carta or similar cap table management software, Coupa or
similar AR/AP software.
PEO and Sales Ops experience a plus
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field;
MSc/MA is a plusCPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
