### **Responsibilities**
* Single owner of one or more battery programs - ultimate responsibility for execution, validation, release, and delivery to customer requirements and expectations.
* Primary technical liaison to external customers and coordinator between internal teams.
* Create clear direction and alignment across engineering with requirements, priorities and efficient decision making. Drive design and decision making optimized for the program.
* Ensure coordination across engineering, customers and other functions with meetings, dashboards / sources of truth, planning and reporting.
* Carefully track and manage program risks, resolution and mitigation.
### **Minimum Qualifications:**
* B.S. or M.S. Eng and 10+ years relevant work experience.
* 5+ years experience leading complex multi-disciplinary engineering programs.
* Broad knowledge of battery system functions - BMS functions, performance, thermals, safety concerns
* Excellent understanding of product development lifecycle, validation process, expectations and required maturity level at each phase.
* Comfortable engaging with and providing direction to all disciplines including ME, EE, SW/FW, and Cell Performance. Able to understand the needs and challenges for each, able to direct work at a high level, manage risk and drive optimal output.
* Excellent technical communication skills.
### **Preferred Skills and Experience:**
* Experience with battery system design for multiple applications
* Experience with manufacturing technologies for battery assembly
* Experience with automotive or heavy equipment design and validation for those environments
* Proficient with CAD / FEA (Solidworks), GD&T
* Skilled in 1-D analysis / modeling (MATLAB Simulink, Excel, Python etc)
**Salary Range -** 200-240K + equity DOE
