This position requires a candidate with IT work experience in implementing
systems with digital experience. The ideal candidate should be able to help
collect business requirements and customer feedback and continuously improve
the company's technology to serve our customers better.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
• Identify business requirements and help define solutions using Microstrategy
Business Intelligence and related technologies.
• Display a solid understanding of business and systems requirements in the
area of business intelligence along with deep technology acumen, particularly
in system and BI architecture.
• BI business systems analyst serves as the conduit between the customer
• Use report specifications to develop reports using the Microstrategy
reporting tool.
• Logically organizing reports and graphs into BI Dashboards and performance
tuning slowly running reports.
• Ensure proper functioning of the solution implemented and business
intelligence-related software, services, and resources. Make upgrades when
necessary.
• Recommend and develop plans for reports and dashboard development and
execution of key metrics and other business systems.
• Ensure company users of the implemented solution and other business systems
receive the highest level of training and guidance.
• Recommend and develop plans for developing and operating the Business
intelligence software and other business systems.
• Ensuring the integration and quality of metadata is maintained in accordance
with the Business Intelligence enterprise architecture.
• Develop, and design solutions related to Business intelligence technology
strategies, data integration planning and deployments across a range of
business applications.
• Develop strategic technology plans and solutions for both department and
enterprise-wide users.
• Overseeing the tactical execution and implementation
• Requirement gathering & analysis: Work closely with stakeholders, including
business users and technical teams, to gather and document detailed
requirements.
• Understanding the needs of various stakeholders and translating those needs
into clear and comprehensive specifications
• Process Mapping and Documentation: Analyze and document existing business
processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement. Create
process maps, flowcharts, and other visual aids to help stakeholders
understand the current state and proposed changes.
• Testing & Validation: Involve in testing newly developed features/products
to ensure they meet the specified requirements. Work with testing teams to
define test scenarios, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess
the success of new feature/product release and identify opportunities for
further optimization and improvement.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing data and providing insights to support decision-
making and strategic planning.
* _QUALIFICATIONS: *_
• At least two years of experience formulating technical requirements based on
customers' needs. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Ability to create and manage short and long-range schedules for software
releases.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Define and analyze
metrics that inform the success of products.
• Promoter of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Able to multitask and handle critical timelines.
• This position requires a bachelor's degree in Applied Business Analytics, or
closely related field such as Information Systems, Business Analytics.
