**The Role**
As a Sr. Process Engineer at Avnos, you will take what we have lab-proven and
pilot-tested and bring it to life, scale, and operation. You will lend your
deep expertise in both engineering standards and process engineering to craft
the external-facing deliverables (Front-End Engineering Design / Front-Eng
Loading) that build trust and credibility with our customers and partners. You
own the engineering partnerships with our customers’ EPC (Engineering,
Procurement & Construction) firms and the outcomes, providing technical
support through engineering, modelling, mechanical integrity of procured
equipment, and construction & commissioning support for an aggressive schedule
of scale up Hybrid Direct Air Capture (HDAC) plants on behalf of our
customers.
**You will:**
* Scale-up and bring designs to life, initiating and managing process engineering deliverables; fulfilling the customer, design, timeline, and code requirements of each unique project under your ambit.
* Support sound business decisions in the face of tradeoffs and interdependencies; evaluating equipment bids, purchase requisitions, inspection test plans to confirm equipment matches design intent.
* Enable cross-functional and external execution, keeping precise control over progress, communications, and risk mitigation.
* Review, project manage, and shepherd approval of process engineering deliverables that may include; Process Flow Diagram (PFD); piping and instrumentation diagram (P&IDs); heat and material balances (HMBs); process calculations; control philosophy; balance of plant elements including instrumentation, pressure analysis and sizing, relief systems, and chemical summaries.

**You have:**
* A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field and 8 years of transferrable process engineering experience. Process engineering experience with fluid-handling is a bonus.
* Knowledge, skill and/or experience serving as a bridge between functional expertise, teams and companies including chemical engineering, material science, process engineering, and EPC.
* Polished and clear communication skills when creating customer and partner-facing work product.
* Creativity and a strategic outlook, which enable you to identify and construct workflow efficiencies as fluently as you construct plants.
* Generosity in sharing your expertise, mentoring and inspiring others around you.
* Comfort, fluency, and ease using process engineering software such as AspenTech, Bluebeam, CAD and/or proven capability of learning new software tools.

**Salary** : For this role, the estimated base salary range is between
$144,000 - $203,701. The actual base salary will vary based on various
factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed
during the interview process. The range listed above is a guideline, and the
base salary range for this role may be modified. In addition to base salary,
your compensation package may include additional components such as equity and
benefits. The final compensation package will be determined based on the
selected candidate's skills and experience.
