**Job Overview:**
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Betavoid, you will play a crucial role in
the development and execution of cutting-edge mechanical design projects. You
will lead and collaborate with a team of engineers and work closely with
cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-precision and
innovative mechanical solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity

**Responsibilities:**
* Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they meet project objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
* Conduct comprehensive research, analysis, and testing to identify and implement innovative mechanical solutions that improve product performance and reliability.
* Develop detailed design specifications, CAD models, and drawings for various mechanical components and systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to integrate mechanical components into complete systems.
* Evaluate and optimize existing mechanical systems and components to enhance performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
* Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations to validate the structural integrity and performance of mechanical designs.
* Contribute to the selection of materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers to ensure product quality and cost-effectiveness.
* Lead design reviews, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and mentor team members.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout the design and manufacturing processes.
* Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of mechanical engineering.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with FEA tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical designs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and lead projects.
* Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
* Professional engineering license (PE) is a plus but not required.
