WOM (short for Word of Mouth) is an AI, mobile, and community-first restaurant
discovery platform that will soon be launching in Los Angeles, and throughout
major cities in the US shortly thereafter. WOM was built with the restaurant
goer in mind with daily mission of "Power to the Eater," helping nommers find
their next bite fast and make better informed decisions with effortless
discovery. The application will solve virtually every pain point restaurant
goers have. B2C freemium product to start, paving the way to a B2B data
analytics offering down the road. Massive TAM opportunity. Founder previously
founded and sold company for $1B+, serving over 4M users.
Looking for someone with +5 years experience in (a) building a successful
consumer/social mobile-first application, (b) scaling data and/or scraping
pipelines, and (c) working with and fine tuning AI pipelines (namely OpenAI)
primarily for the purposes of sentiment analysis. Obviously all 3 of these are
hard to find, but the more the merrier. Above all, grit is the most important.
We want someone that is passionate about the problem and willing to run
through a wall to bring company to greatness.
