GGWP is a fast-paced start-up co-founded by three successful entrepreneurs
with the backing of key strategic investors in the video game industry. GGWP
aims to curb toxicity in gaming by creating positive, player centric
experiences. We are working with popular online video games who are aligned
with our mission.
The product manager will partner with engineering and design, sales, marketing
and executive leaders to define the direction of new and current products and
prioritization. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working through
ambiguity to help define and solve customer problems with a deep understanding
of what makes a great product. Additionally the candidate should bring a
positive attitude, consistently display ownership, and champion solving user
problems while considering business needs.
While slight preference will be given to candidates located in California’s
Bay Area, the opportunity is open to remote applicants that can work between
US and India time zones.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including user and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements, roadmap development, and release management
* Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
* Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization
* Support customer meetings, sales presentations, marketing collateral, project management and in other areas when needed
* Act as a bridge between sales, design and production development teams.
**Required skills and qualifications:**
* 5+ years of product management experience
* High effectiveness in remotely working with cross-functional teams
* Exceptional writing and communication skills
**Preferred skills and qualifications:**
* Passion for video games, familiarity with online multiplayer games
* Experience with enterprise analytics products
* Previous experience in software development
* Proven success as a product manager in a non-managerial role
* Experience collaborating and strategizing with UX/UI Designers
* Able to identify strategic opportunities
