Elekta’s growing software development engineering team has opportunities for
senior quality engineers in development and testing of new and existing
products. Our product teams thrive in a scaled, agile environment. Architects,
product owners, designers and developers collaborate closely to rethink and
reimagine. We need your expertise to create software that is simple, elegant
and easy to use. We want to make sure that physicians spend their time
fighting cancer, not software.
##### **Responsibilities:**
* Implement, conduct, and document test solutions for software applications.
* Test within Agile philosophy and Scrum methodology.
* Assist with escalations of customer issues.
* Participate in activities for improving engineering practices, tools, infrastructure and other quality system processes and deliverables.
* Guide teams and develop strategies for testing, test documentation; guide and mentor test and quality engineers.
* Develop and use automated test tools and practices; partner with development engineers to produce design-for-test software.
* Participate in design discussions and code reviews.
* Maintain a current, working knowledge of technical and quality requirements.
* Comply with Quality Management System requirements in a regulated environment.
##### **Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study.
* Experienced test engineer having 5+ years of practice in software development and testing methodologies.
* Ability to lead testing activities and engagement with cross-functional team members to shape the technical direction of projects.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
* Excellent communication skills and comprehension of the English language.
* Work effectively in a team-oriented agile environment.
##### **DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:**
* Experience building test automation solutions and improving testing effectiveness.
* Experience with web, mobile, and desktop application test automation frameworks.
* Experience with programming in one of the following: .NET, Python, Java, or C++.
* Knowledge of medical software systems including electronic health records, radiotherapy planning, treatment, or medical imaging.
* Knowledge of testing software in a regulated environment.
