**The Opportunity**

Bring your expertise to a highly collaborative, creative, and innovative team
with a market-leading technology product suite. We are seeking a candidate
that is highly technical, has strong sense of ownership, and enjoys driving
projects from inception to planning to execution in production. This
Engineering Manager will join our Limited Partner (LP) Technology team to lead
and develop the team, understand the architecture and code, develop new
features alongside the team, as well as drive an overall product vision.

You will work closely with stakeholders to drive the execution of our LP
product roadmap, with a focus on full-stack engineering including Node, React,
and React. This position will report to Evan Kaplan, Director of Engineering,
with engagement across the organization while you lead the team.

**As a hands-on Engineering Manager focused on LP clients at Chronograph, you
will:**

* Collaborate and work very closely with the product team to help drive a product vision for a key element of our overall business strategy
* Meet with clients, presenting new features and answering technical questions
* Lead a team of engineers and contribute solutions focused on new data visualization capabilities on our advanced analytics platform
* Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies and patterns
* Design and develop robust, performant, beautiful, and scalable features and services that delight our end users
* Cultivate a deep understanding of client data management use cases to deliver creative and thoughtful solutions
* Collaborate closely across the organization to build and refine processes to ensure efficient growth into the future
* Help continue to build a world-class Engineering team to enable this effort, shaping both technical direction and team composition as we scale
* Help attract, interview, and onboard your future team members during this exciting time of growth

**You will be successful in this role if you have:**

* Eight (8) years or more of professional development experience
* Two (2) years or more software engineering management experience
* A drive to lead by example, planning projects, writing code, and performing code reviews

* Strong analytical, team management, project leadership and communication skills

* A passion for maintainable, readable, stable, secure, and scalable code
* Track record of shipping high-quality SaaS products and features at scale
* An ability to think through client needs and incorporate end-user feedback
* Strong UI/UX instincts and an eye for visual design
* Understanding of client-side performance, including rendering optimizations, memoization, memory management, and state management

* Substantial experience with our tech stack which includes but is not limited to React, Redux, GraphQL, Postgres, Sass, Webpack, TypeScript, and ES6/7

* Interest in progressive architecture patterns, including serverless, microservices, event-driven applications, and distributed systems

* Positive attitude, sense of humor and creativity

Salary Range: $200,000 - $220,000 USD (dependent on experience)
