**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our
talented team of software engineers at BrainHi Inc. In this role, you will be
responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of our software
products while ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Will report
directly to the Company Founders. You will work closely with cross-functional
teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, etc.), including product
management and design, to define project requirements, set realistic
timelines, and drive successful product launches. As an Engineer Manager, you
will be instrumental in cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation,
and excellence within the engineering team.
**Responsibilities**
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the engineering team adheres to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
* Collaborate with product management and design teams to define project requirements, prioritize tasks, and manage project timelines.
* Drive the development and delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
* Perform regular code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to software engineering principles.
* Identify and address technical challenges and roadblocks, providing effective solutions and mitigation strategies.
* Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback, assess requirements, and make data-driven decisions to improve software performance and user experience.
* Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
**Qualifications**
* Education preparation on Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Experience will be considered over Educational Background.
* Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced software development environment.
* Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, languages, frameworks, and tools.
* Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
* Experience with programming languages such as Python & SQL is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
* Passion for innovation, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
* Previous experience in the healthcare or medical technology industry is a plus.
