We’re looking for a Founding Software Engineer to join our team and help us
build the world’s best sleep analysis platform, using a complex array of
cognitive and physiological data to provide at-a-glance, actionable insights.
### **Responsibilities:**
* Assume a key leadership position at Fascia and shape the direction of our entire Data Science efforts through thought leadership, experimentation, customer interaction, and innovation.
* Develop and maintain the web application for Fascia’s central sleep data platform.
* Design and develop the mobile application for supporting data exchange with the Fascia Portal.
* Take ownership of all user interfaces, ensuring an intuitive and effective user experience for researchers, competitive athletes, and healthcare providers.
* Create compelling data visualizations to communicate complex sleep insights in a clear and engaging way.
### **Qualifications:**
* **Must have** experience in end-to-end full stack software engineering from design to shipping to end users
* **Must have** experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS) and D3.
* Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation
* Experience with Agile development methodologies and Git version control
* Passion for shaping the future of sleep care with innovative technology
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities
* Keen eye for design, aesthetics, and user experience
* Ability to develop innovative data visualization tools to showcase sleep insights
* Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills
* Healthcare experience, or passion for human health and wellness is preferred
