The Software Engineering Lead will be an integral part of our growing product
team, solving challenging engineering problems quickly and efficiently, and
creating frameworks and API’s. In addition to providing expertise as an agile
.NET developer, the Lead Software Engineer will work closely with management
and other stakeholders to ensure the development team and technologies work
towards the goals of the business. We are a growing and innovative
organization looking for a Lead Software Engineer to play a large role in
mentoring, systems design, development, programming, consultation and support.

**Responsibilities: **

* Provide senior-level programming for next generation application based in C# and .NET Core, relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms
* Lead code reviews to ensure the team is writing scalable and efficient code
* Mentor other team members and ensuring they maintain software quality standards
* Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation of modified or new technologies and / or frameworks
* Maintain and apply strong understanding of business practices to effectively fulfill responsibilities while working on multiple high-priority tasks
* Lead projects through delivery
* Support scrum agile development process improvements

**Required Qualifications:**

* 8+ years' experience developing with .NET and C# (including experience with .NET Core)
* 2+ years’ experience leading Agile Scrum teams
* Successful experience as a technical team lead
* The ability and desire to mentor others
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Modern Angular experience is required; Kendo UI experience is nice to have
* Experience with additional aspects of our technology stack (such as Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, Azure)
* Familiar with TDD, be able to write unit tests for existing and new code
* Flutter experience is a plus but not required
* Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems
* Strong understanding of design patterns
* Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems

**Compensation** : Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position
to be an annual salary of _$180,000 to $185,000_.

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience
outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are
subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
