**About the Role**
We are in the earliest stages of our growth cycle, and cannot fully keep up
with customer onboarding. We need a talented, ambitious, hard-working
Solutions Architect who can take us from zero to 100 customer onboardings per
week.
You are that person, and you are capable of building our growth and onboarding
technology and processes from the ground up.
You will be one of the first employees at a mission-driven and fast-growing
startup. You are ambitious and hard-working, but you (like us!) also believe
in putting people first and having a huge amount of fun while you do your job
😁 .
You are a hungry full stack software developer who is capable of thought
leadership and high-quality code output, but who is also interested in client
facing work. As a Solutions Architect, you’re excited to spend time talking to
customers and championing their needs.
You’re driven by a desire to solve problems day-in and day-out, at scale. You
can quickly understand how something works, even when you haven’t seen it
before.
The idea of building the engine to power human productivity (aka Village)
makes you extremely excited.
You are also autonomous and happy to take on big, ambiguous problems. But
you’re more than just your code! You love building a culture where people love
to work (❤️). As one of the first employees, you’ll be integral to the long-
term culture of Village and future employees will rely on you as a role model.
You’ll be empathetic, hard-working, passionate, good at giving constructive
feedback and, of course, having lots of fun.
**What you’ll do**
* Partner with clients to deeply understand their challenges, business goals, and technical requirements, and then help them solve their problems with the Atlas system
* Build the processes, systems, and Solutions team required to take Village from zero to 100 customer onboardings per week
* Collaborate deeply with our Sales team to understand client needs and provide technical support throughout the sales process
* Elevate client understanding and utilization of our innovative Atlas product through tailored solutions and expert guidance
* Work closely with our Product team to continuously improve our product and develop new solutions to client needs
* Take on all the different varied projects that only an early-stage startup can throw at you
* Assist in build full-stack core features when needed, including occasional UI work, for our web based apps
* Maintain thorough test coverage on your code–we’re all owners here
* Guide the early Village technical architecture decisions that will resonate throughout the global economy for years to come 🤯
* Be a thought leader, working directly with the founders to set and ship the vision
* Establish the Village engineering culture–live the mission and set a standard
* Have an inordinate amount of fun
**What you’ll bring**
* Bachelors and/or master’s degree in computer science preferred
* 2+ years experience building tools that streamline customer onboarding & setup
* 3+ years of full stack development experience
* Experience in React, Nextjs, and TypeScript preferred
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* A successful track record deploying and maintaining complex systems at scale
