**Position Overview:** (This position is FULL REMOTE)
We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer for a contractor position, with
at least 5 years of experience in software development. The ideal candidate
will be a self-starter, capable of learning our technology stack quickly and
independently. This role involves performing code reviews for other engineers,
ensuring the highest quality of code and adherence to best practices.
Experience with agile software development methodologies is essential, as we
value flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity practices are considered a bonus,
as we prioritize the security of our applications and client data.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Develop high-quality web and mobile applications that meet client
specifications and exceed expectations.
Perform thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members
and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new
features.
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks to improve
application performance and development efficiency.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily
stand-ups, and retrospectives.
**Required Skills and Experience:**
Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development.
Strong foundation in cloud-based services, relational databases, and a
scripting language.
Proficient in related technologies such as:
Cloud Services: Experience with AWS services beyond Beanstalk, such as EC2,
Lambda, and S3.
Backend Development: Solid understanding of backend frameworks similar to
Flask, such as Django or Pyramid, and proficiency in Python 3.x.
Frontend Development: Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries
related to Angular, such as
React or Vue.js, and a deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
Databases: Familiarity with relational databases beyond PostgreSQL, such as
MySQL or Oracle, and experience with database services like AWS RDS.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn new technologies quickly,
and mentor junior developers.
Strong communication skills and experience with agile software development
practices.
