**What are the qualities of our ideal candidate?**
We are looking for recent grads who are self-starters with strong analytical
skills and a desire for continuous learning. If you have a degree in computer
science, software engineering, or a STEM subject, and programming experience
in C, C++, Java, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, Javascript/JQuery/angular, we
encourage you to apply. You must also be motivated, organised, goal-oriented,
and able to take full ownership and responsibility for your actions.
As a Software Engineer, your duties will include the following:
Working on new product enhancements in Ruby On Rails, Javascript and React
Native (70%)
Learning about the existing technology stack and learning from the rest of the
team (15%)
Researching and understanding the latest technology trends affecting our
industry and tech stack (15%)
We care about your career path. As you gain experience and knowledge from the
rest of the team, you will naturally move to more senior engineering roles
with greater ownership levels. We have annual salary reviews and offer
feedback during regular catchups. Ultimately, this leads to a career path as a
senior developer or people management leadership responsibilities.
