We are looking for a full-time **Software Engineer** with experience in a wide
range of **Backend** systems technologies including C#, SQL, Docker, Linux and
cloud technologies to join our company in its next phase of growth. Primary
job responsibilities will be resolving defects in existing software by
implementing features and resolving bugs.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop and implement processes and systems to ensure product sustainability and reliability
* Resolve software bug/defect tickets.
**Qualifications**
* 3+ years of experience developing within .NET/.NET Core in C# and Visual Studio
* Familiar with Unit Testing, Mocking, & Continuous Integration
* Strong understanding of design patterns and when best to apply them
* Ability to create and maintain system code and documentation
* Demonstrated ability to write backend code interfacing with SQL
* Familiarity with Docker
* Possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated adaptability in the fast-paced tech landscape, continually embracing and integrating new technologies and methodologies.
* Ability to work with many technology stacks and languages
* While formal education in Computer Science or related fields is a plus, Defcon AI values hands-on experience and demonstrable skills above all. Candidates with 6+ years of relevant experience will be considered regardless of their academic pedigree.
**Desired Qualifications**
* Experience with PostgreSQL
* Experience with Kubernetes
* Experience with AWS cloud services, especially ECR, EKS, and CodeArtifact
* Experience in Github Actions or CI/CD systems in general
* Experience with Entity Framework (EF)

**Salary Range** : $108,000-$130,000. This represents the typical salary range
for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
