**Who we are:**

SigScalr is disrupting the observability market with a purpose built
architecture that provides over 10x performance improvements using a fraction
of resources. SigScalr is backed by top tier institutional investors from
Silicon Valley and high profile angels. Based on unique insights from directly
managing petabytes of observability data, the SigScalr team realized current
technologies do not efficiently scale to accommodate the explosion of
operational complexity. SigScalr is purpose built to take advantage and derive
insights from large volumes of observability data with a minimal
infrastructure footprint.

**Role:**

We are looking for backend engineers to help us build highly performant
distributed systems, query engines, and storage systems from the ground up. We
operate with a high-ownership and low-overhead approach, where you will be
expected to propose, build, launch, and iterate on ground breaking solutions
to tough problems.

**Qualifications:**

* Experience with any of: Go, Python, Java
* Systems programming, strong algorithms and data structures fundamentals
* Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kafka, Splunk, Distributed Systems
* Familiarity with OpenTSDB, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana
* Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform
* Familiarity with Databases, SQL, NoSQL technologies
* Familiarity with test driven development
