The goal of our summer internship program is to expose talented candidates to
the projects and environment associated with full-time work in quantitative
analysis and software development.
Podcast advertising is one of the fastest-growing channels in digital
marketing, however, the industry is still outdated. Podscribe is a state-of-
the-art SaaS analytics platform that provides tools for podcast advertisers.
Podscribe automates the reporting, attribution, measurement, and verification
of podcast ads required to successfully scale advertising efforts. Podscribe
works with the largest brands spending in the podcast advertising space:
BetterHelp, Helix, Manscaped, Athletic Greens, and more.
Podscribe is looking for a talented, self-starting software engineer intern
currently studying computer science or related field. This is an opportunity
to work with a lean, fast-growing, product-focused company to gain startup and
real-world experience. The work you do will provide tangible value to
Podscribe and help you acquire real-world experience in the SaaS industry,
offering training for the skills necessary to work in software engineering.
**Qualifications**
* Native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Student or recent graduate studying Computer Science or related field
* Experience in SQL, python, React + typescript, node, and AWS
* Knowledge of building responsive web apps that communicate with RESTful APIs
* Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset, preferably with individual projects you can showcase
* Shows a proven ability to self-teach, learn, and proactively seeking out opportunities to expand knowledge and skill set.
* Interested in building and working on something from the ground up
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Work with engineering and other internal teams to build out Podscribe back-end enterprise-level tools, widgets, and features to improve platform and support and drive product roadmap
* Provide support related to product development projects including development, testing, and design
* Support a variety of software development, configuration and data migration activities
* Provide support in documenting the design and future enhancements.
* Work alongside the CTO, Account Managers, and internal development team to improve, optimize, and bring to life site and platform improvements
* Identifying and patching site and backend bugs as they arise.
