As a Senior Technical Artist on the DCC Tech team at Bungie, you will enhance
developer effectiveness and quality of life spanning multiple game projects.
You will contribute to a wide variety of areas including content creator
tools, architecture of shared toolsets in DCC applications. You will work
alongside other technical artists to build new frameworks that allow us to
share tools upgrades more easily between different game projects. In addition,
your contributions will empower content creators and technical artists across
Bungie to do their best work and ultimately improve our ability to create
great games more effectively.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Develop and maintain production-quality Python code for Maya tools and pipelines
* Provide support to ensure healthy shared tools ecosystem for content creators and developers
* Enhance and standardize shared DCC features, tools, and workflows across projects
* Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve complex problems
* Improve efficiency and stability through documentation, training, and toolset enhancements
* Drive tools setup, integrations, and deployment strategies
* Participate in department code review processes
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in Maya and other relevant software

**REQUIRED SKILLS **

* Proficient in developing and managing Maya tools and pipelines
* Solid programming foundation with a focus on Python
* Problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
* Ability to create, extend, and maintain stable and reliable code in large systems
* Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Service-oriented mindset and willingness to support others
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently

**NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS **

* C# or C++ programming knowledge
* Experience with Maya API’s (C++, Python) plugin authoring
* Experience building interfaces using PySide/PyQt/QT
* Experience with Autodesk FBX SDK
* Experience working with real-time engines
