As a Senior Software Engineer at The Technical Magic Company, you will play a
vital role in designing, developing, and overseeing our products and platform
technology at scale, while mentoring and leading the technical team.
**In this role, you will:**
* Lead cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions
* Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure code, maintaining a high standard of coding practices
* Guide code reviews and contribute significantly to the establishment and enforcement of best practices within the engineering team
* Design and maintain sophisticated automated tests, ensuring the robustness, reliability, and longevity of our products and platform
* Stay updated with and provide strategic insight on emerging technologies and trends in software development
* Contribute to and oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
**To thrive in this role, you will likely have the following:**
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* At least six years of experience in software development, with a proven record of successfully delivering and overseeing complex software products
* Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
* Expertise with machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) technologies is highly desirable
* A deep understanding of software engineering principles, coding standards, testing procedures, and CI/CD processes
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
* A demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement
* The ability to independently lead projects and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
