MedGEO is a HealthTech startup that has developed and recently deployed a
cloud-based SaaS platform specifically designed for the healthcare industry.
We have recently secured early adopters and are ramping up to build on our
current team with talented individuals who are looking for an opportunity to
grow with our company, gain early stock options, and advacnce thier career at
this early stage.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in
AWS, React JS, TypeScript, database design, software architecture and design,
mobile app development, AI/ML, and SaaS development. The ideal candidate will
have a strong technical background, be passionate about building high-quality
software solutions, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment. This role is initially a full time contract offer
with 3-6 months probation period.
**Key Responsibilities:**
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software applications.
· Implement front-end applications using React JS and TypeScript.
· Utilize AWS services to build and manage cloud-based solutions.
· Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
· Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to translate
business requirements into technical solutions.
· Conduct code and reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software
development.
· Design and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability.
· Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and manage data
effectively.
· Mentor and manage junior engineers and provide technical guidance and
support.
Work with engineering and product development team that is globally
distributed
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
field.
· Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software development.
· Strong proficiency in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).

· Experience in design and development products for healthcare industry
· Knowledge of healthcare standards like FHIR and HL7
· Certification in AWS or other relevant technologies.
