Impiricus is a well-funded, fast-growing health tech company that is focused
on creating digital products that return lost time to doctors so that they can
focus on patient care. We do this by fully digitizing the interface between
providers and industry partners, thereby reducing patient cost and expediting
patient care.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as
a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will lead the design,
development, and deployment of various software products. You will report to
the Director of Software Engineering. This technical leader will have
significant experience and a strong track record in software engineering and
working in health technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about health
technologies, start-ups, has a deep understanding of REST APIs, and is capable
of mentoring junior engineers while driving new product development.
What you will do:
* Lead the development team to produce the highest quality software products.
* Identify and solve real-world problems HCPs face with innovative solutions.
* Collaborate with our client services team to configure, set-up, deploy, monitor, and report on new campaigns.
* Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Develop and maintain scalable software products.
* Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall product roadmap.
What we’re looking for:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
* Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in software engineering.
* Proven leadership experience in a Scrum team.
* A strong interest in building health tech solutions.
* Extensive history of design, development, and deployment of scalable software.
* Expertise in Python, JavaScript, or other OOP languages.
* In-depth experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
* Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
* A strong commitment to working in a collaborative start-up environment.
