**ABOUT THE ROLE:**
We’re looking for a QA Analyst that will be responsible for ensuring the
quality and reliability of our applications through meticulous testing and
validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
manual testing, with additional skills in automation being a strong bonus.
This is a remote position. Our headquarters is in Los Angeles, California, and
we have an office in New York City.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
_Manual Testing_
* Test Case Development: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
* Functional Testing: Evaluate the functions of the application against the specified requirements.
* Regression Testing: Ensure that recent code changes don't adversely affect the existing functionalities.
* Usability Testing: Assess the user-friendliness of the application, adhering to best design practices.
_Automation (Bonus)_
* Script Development: Develop scripts to automate repetitive tests using tools such as Cypress.
* CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline.
* Framework Setup: Assist in setting up and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
**ABOUT YOU**
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in manual software testing.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Skills: Proficiency in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
* Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
* Bonus Skills:Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, etc.
* Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
* Detail-Oriented: Possess an eye for detail to identify issues and inconsistencies.
* Analytical Thinking: Able to analyze complex systems and identify potential areas of failure.
* Proactive: Anticipate potential future issues and work to prevent them before they occur.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety
of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000.
Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors including
experience, skillset, location, and local minimum pay requirements as
applicable. We are actively hiring for this role in in North and South America
and offer competitive pay and benefits.
