We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, and knowledgeable
Senior Software Engineer to join our team supporting our continued growth and
innovation to build interconnected and resilient communities.
**Objective:** As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of
our team, supporting the design, development, and troubleshooting of the
ecoLong’s software solutions such as: energy trading and optimization, [link],
cybersecurity, [link], among others.
Primary Responsibilities for the role (including, but not limited to):
* Design, document, and develop quality software solutions spanning multiple platforms
* Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes
* Demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative environment with evolving project requirements **Ideal candidates will possess the following:**
* B.S., M.S., or Ph.D in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
* Minimum 2 years of working experience
* Deep understanding and development experience (Python, Java, Go, Rust, or similar)
* Practical experience designing and delivering high quality end-to-end solutions
* Experience with Agile /SCRUM methodology for product development
* Experience with building pipelines to automate the software development, testing, and deployment lifecycle.
* Experience with open-source container ecosystem or serverless cloud services
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to cope with and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment with evolving project requirements
