native (virtual & in-person) events technology company serving the global
market. We are on a mission to build Townhall into a Unicorn startup in the
next few years, through a highly differentiated product. We have gathered deep
expertise in the events domain by serving more than 50,000 events in the last
5 years under the brand Townscript and are looking for smart Engineerings to
take our vision forward.
**What You 'll Do :**
* Own a functional area from product conception to delivery
* Work with a team of 3-4 junior engineers
* Given a product requirement, work with Product Managers to understand & refine the requirements and translate them to technical requirements
* Prepare high-level designs with the help of Architects and Principal Engineers
* Come up with low-level design and code independently in multiple tech components related to functional area
* Choose the right tech stack for a given requirement
* Optimize existing microservices
* Take non-functional requirement (Reliability, Availability, Scalability) into considerations while taking any decision
* Build, develop, mentor and coach junior team members
* Owning the quality of code, UT coverage, documentation etc
* Collaborate with teams by contributing to the shared vision and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
**Skills we are looking for :**
*** 4-8 years** of experience developing new age web products, distributed and
scalable systems
* Strong object-oriented design skills and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces
* A good understanding of System Design, Design Patterns, Service Oriented Architecture and Microservices
* Deep experience of building web products using any of **JS frameworks** like **Angular, React, Vue** etc with strong Javascript, **HTML** and **CSS** fundamentals
* Understanding of streaming systems, Message queues like Kafka, RabbitMq etc
