Minimum Qualifications
Overall 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and operationalizing
backend systems through any hobbyist, academic, and/or professional projects.
Strong programming skills in Python including experience building and
deploying packages.
Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies such as
object-oriented programming, test-driven development, and distributed systems
design.
Experience with Git version control with knowledge of merge strategies and
different workflows such as GitFlow and Trunk-based development.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies, data modeling best
practices, and query languages.
Experience with designing serverless backend solutions built with AWS.
Experience with designing RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with machine learning methodologies, tooling, and frameworks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to
collaborate with team members.
Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-
paced environment

**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience with implementing and deploying well-designing APIs and serverless
backend solutions built with AWS for public use.
Understanding of serverless best practices and AWS's Well-Architected
Framework.
Experience working with data warehousing and data lake technologies.
Experience working within an agile environment.
