Developer with experience in blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and
decentralized applications (DApps) to join our team. The ideal candidate will
contribute to the development of GenLayer and help us achieve our goal of
improving blockchain applications through AI integration.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Contribute to the prototype and development of a VM (similar to EVM) within the blockchain ecosystem.
2. Develop different components of the GenLayer Node.
3. Develop and maintain client libraries for seamless interaction with the GenLayer network.
4. Create and refine the VM, ensuring secure and efficient smart contract execution.
5. Develop CLI tools for deploying and transacting on the GenLayer network.
6. Collaborate with the technical writing team to ensure comprehensive documentation for developers and users.
**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong track record in building complex and scalable applications.
3. Specializes in advanced Python development, focusing on core language features, performance optimization, and security enhancements suitable for sandboxed execution environments.
4. Experience working with AI, machine learning, or natural language processing is a plus.
**Qualifications:**
1. Extensive experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and DApps.
2. Experience with Solidity or similar blockchain development languages, with a focus on consensus mechanisms and smart contract execution.
3. Strong understanding of blockchain state management, transaction processing, and consensus validation.
4. Proficiency in developing and testing smart contracts and associated tools in a blockchain context.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
6. Proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable code in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in English.
