Hedge is hiring full-stack software engineers. You'll be joining a small,
seasoned development team at an exciting stage, and will have the opportunity
to shape the trajectory of a generational, mission-driven company, as we
continue to rollout the world's 1st multiplayer financial institution to the
public.

### Overview

Our current openings are for software engineers who are early in their career.
We are looking for driven, self-motivated team members who are looking to make
a positive impact on the world around them.

* Remote (must reside within the continental United States)

* Able to work during market hours _We may also consider in-person roles in Orange County, CA or New York, NY for those who are only interested in in-person opportunities._

### Responsibilities

* Write and test full-stack features across a native mobile frontend app and backend services
* Participate in, or lead, design reviews with peers and stakeholders
* Evaluate code written by other developers and offer feedback to ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., style guidelines, code integration, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
* Identify, debug, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and assessing their impact on service operations and quality.

### Tech Stack

* Frontend: React Native (using Expo)
* Backend: Node.js, Python
* Cloud Services: AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, API Gateway, Athena, SAM / Cloudformation, RDS, SQS, SNS, Kinesis)

### Basic Qualifications

* 1-3+ years of industry experience developing software
* 1-3+ years of experience with React Native
* Experience with testing frameworks and a commitment to testing
* Fluency in JavaScript
* Experience with a public cloud service (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Demonstrated interest in building!

### Preferred Qualifications

* Direct experience building on AWS
* Experience with Python
* Familiarity with QLDB and Kafka
