**About the Role:**

"At Quiver, LGBTQ+ inclusivity is at the heart of our mission as a dating app
startup. We are dedicated to creating an exceptional and empowering experience
for our diverse community of users.

We are seeking a talented and visionary Senior Designer to lead our design
efforts and take the Quiver user experience to new heights. In this role, you
will have the opportunity to shape every aspect of our product, with a
particular focus on company branding, and user experience and interface design
of our mobile application. Your ultimate goal will be to create a seamless and
joyful journey for our users that exceeds their expectations.

This position requires a strong balance between hands-on design work and
strategic thinking. You will be responsible for developing and executing plans
that align with both departmental objectives and broader business goals. As a
leader, you will also mentor and manage a team of designers while
collaborating closely with cross-functional partners throughout the
organization.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess well-rounded expertise in
building and leading multi-disciplinary design teams across all stages of

**Essential Job Functions:**
This senior designer will play a crucial role in connecting research and
insights to opportunities within Quiver's LGBTQ+ dating app journey. You will
collaborate with different teams to translate these valuable insights into
innovative products, solutions, and experiences for our users.

As a member of the Design team, you will have the opportunity to contribute
towards the growth and evolution of our design team at Quiver, helping us
shape an exceptional user experience within the LGBTQ+ community.

**What you’ll do:**

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead and guide the design process.
* Work closely with product managers and engineers to articulate, negotiate, and refine design requirements for optimal solutions.
* Rapidly design and prototype multiple ideas and iterations, while actively seeking feedback from customers to assess product directions.
* Conduct thorough research to identify and address user, product, and business challenges.
* Actively participate in weekly design collaboration sessions to foster critical thinking, strategic planning, and continuous improvement of designs.
* Produce high-quality designs that are polished, engaging, intuitive, and enhance user experience.

* _What you bring: *_

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design within a technology company focused on products or design.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering tangible products that effectively solve real problems for users.
* Proficiency in all aspects of the product design lifecycle, including conducting research (sometimes collaborating with the UX research team), establishing product strategy, creating wireframes and prototypes, crafting pixel-perfect UI designs, preparing documentation, and conducting user testing.
* Extensive practical knowledge and expertise using design tools such as Figma.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining a scalable design system utilizing Figma.
* Dedication to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment."
