oriented Senior Mobile Engineer (full-time contractor) based in South America.

**Responsibilities:**

* Join a highly motivated & collaborative team of remote engineers, mentoring your junior and intermediate peers towards excellence.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and partners across teams and departments
* Write performant, maintainable code that is easy to read and well-documented
* Write automated tests to thoroughly validate the correctness of your code
* Deploy large-scale web applications
* Have a focus on quality, and operate iteratively to get from good to better
* Be a part of your team’s on-call rotation; we all own our code end-to-end from development to deployment to operations
* Come ready to learn from some of the best and brightest in the industry
* Work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-moving team
* Be effective in a team environment working with fellow engineers, product management, and design

**General Qualifications:**

* Computer Science or related degree
* Top-notch teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision
* Understanding of OO design, algorithms, and data structures
* Aptitude to quickly learn new languages and technologies as necessary
* Strong code versioning skills (rebase/merge/pull requests/squashing)
* A strong and proven experience in building native apps

**Coding Qualifications: _ _**

* Experience with continuous integration (Ideally via github actions)
* Experience with Objective C, Swift and Swift UI
* Experience with Core Data, Storyboards, and Xibs
* Experience with Cocoapods and/or Carthage
* MVVM architectural pattern, Singleton, Dependency injection
* Candidates that have a portfolio of apps on live on the store will be highly considered
* Keeping up to date with WWDC and staying tuned with the latest best practices
* Familiarity with Google services (Mainly Firebase)
* Familiarity with AWS Services (e.g. EKS, RDS, Kinesis, EC2, Lambda, et cetera)
* Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging
* Nice to have experience with Twilio, Vonage (Opentok), and Lottie
* Nice to have some python or other scripting experience
