In this role, you would lead development of our web SDKs for Mobi Agent. Agent
offers the interactions you would expect of any master travel agent: a deep
understanding of place, the ability to ask poignant questions to understand
what a traveler is looking for, and planning features that deliver a story-
worthy experience every day. We have 8 modules: destination discovery, POI
exploration and recommendations, map view, chat, profile, itinerary and trip
summary. These SDKs are used by our customers to decrease their time to market
and ensure that they get as much value as possible from our platform. As
importantly, the SDKs ensure that the positive impacts we want to have on the
world make it into the experience our customers build. The ideal person for
this role would:
* Have at least 3 years of professional work experience doing front-end web development and at least 1 year working with an agency where they will have worked on multiple projects start to finish
* Be fluent in javascript and CSS and comfortable working with either react or vue.js
* Love to travel and care about both place and how we understand who we are
* Bring strong opinions about best practices for responsive, collaborative web experiences
* Want to lead a small developer team or work as a lead contributor on a small team
* Want to own overall product architecture for core modules or own development for a particular vertical (cruise, hotel, air, business travel, OTA, etc).
