### Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

### Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to
join our team. This role is crucial in continuing to provide our customers
with the best experience possible. As a key member of our development team,
you will work closely with our CTO and other team members to enhance and
maintain our software. You’ll have the opportunity to grow, drive initiatives,
explore other responsibilities, and become an integral part of our team as we
meet our upcoming objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and maintain features on our platform using TypeScript.
* Frontend: React
* Backend: Express
* Collaborate with team members through pair programming.
* Perform a broad range of tasks from frontend to backend, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality performance.
* Work at all levels of the stack regularly, from database work to application code to front-end styling.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
**Requirements:**
* Strong _verbal_ and _written_ English communication skills.
* Ability to work during normal US business hours.
* Passionate about creating the best customer experience.
* Familiarity with pair programming and a strong emphasis on code quality.
* Full stack development skills, including frontend, backend, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
* A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the quality of your work.
**Nice to Have:**
* Proven experience with TypeScript, React, Express, and PostgreSQL.
* Strong preference for 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
**More About the Job:**
* Work closely with the CTO on daily activities.
* You'll have the chance to take a feature idea, refine it through discussions with our team and customers, design the entire solution (finding ways to make it better, cheaper, and faster), and then build it.
* We’re fully remote and communicate via email, docs, Zoom, and Slack.
* Flexible on timezone, but we need at least 4 hours of overlap with US Central Time.
* We’re a mostly bootstrapped company.
* We are a 5-person team, and you will have the opportunity to grow, drive initiatives, and explore other responsibilities. You will be an integral part of our team, helping us meet our objectives.

2. Two video interviews (between 15-60 minutes long) where we try to get to know you better and give you a chance to get to know us and a bit more about Senior Place, as well as assess if your technical skills are right for the role.
3. Take Home Assessment
4. Hands-on-keyboard pair programming exercise working on real code.
5. If all goes well, we will make you an offer and if you accept, welcome you to our team!
