About the role
Our web team is focused on building web applications and APIs enabling people
to access and interact with complex investment products across multiple
blockchains. Joining a small team with a wide breadth of responsibilities you
will be working across the stack to execute on new features and products while
maintaining a high level of excellence in our code quality and delivered
solutions. Due to the nature of our blockchain-enabled RWA investment
products, you will have the opportunity to help us build at the forefront of
web2/web3 (web 2.5) experiences to usher in the next big wave of on-chain
capital. **This position is Frontend focused so a high expertise in
React/Typescript is a must** as well as comfortability in working with other
parts of the stack.

What your responsibilities will be:
* Design and implement user-friendly interfaces that provide seamless and secure user experiences for interacting with on and off-chain data.
* Integrate Web3 libraries and frameworks to enable interaction with blockchain networks, including wallet connections, smart contract interactions, and transaction management.
* Optimize front-end code for performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions, while considering the unique challenges of blockchain data retrieval and integration.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and blockchain developers, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Collaborate with the back-end engineering team to define and build API endpoints and data structures required for front-end functionality, ensuring efficient communication between front-end and back-end components.
* Implementing external system integrations that support our web applications and operations team.
* Assist in the evaluation and integration of third-party libraries, tools, and frameworks that can streamline the development process and improve the overall quality of the product.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Web3 and blockchain technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the user experience and technical architecture.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence
What we are looking for:
* +/- 3 hours from the PST time zone — typically this means you're located in the Americas
* At least five years of experience as a software engineer contributing to production code bases in Node.js/React/Javascript (Typescript)
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
* Solid fundamental knowledge of web application, API, and web3 development
* A dedication to continuous learning and a commitment to best practices across the whole technology stack
* A strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* An engineering generalist who is excited to learn new things and share their knowledge with his/her team
* Demonstrated interest in crypto — building, investing, yield farming, minting, voting, or whatever excites you in the space
* Prior experience building crypto-native / web3 projects deployed on an EVM mainnet — especially using React, Node, and JavaScript (TypeScript); experience in DeFi, Solidity, TheGraph, serverless, cloud infrastructure (AWS), testing, or security are a plus
