TripSuite is a seed stage, venture-backed startup revolutionizing travel
agency software. Our mission is to bring modern software to the 100,000 travel
agents in the US. We are growing quickly and expanding our product development
team.
**Where You Meet TripSuite**
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and
maintaining our company's frontend infrastructure, systems, and web
applications. Working closely with our founding team, you'll bring your
expertise to bear on improving our frontend architecture's efficiency and
user-friendliness. This role demands strong knowledge of React, Next.js, and
TypeScript, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. You will
report directly to the Co-founder/CTO, making significant contributions to our
engineering efforts.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and test new features using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, ensuring code quality and performance.
* Collaborate with the backend team to integrate with APIs and services.
* Extend the integration testing suite for comprehensive coverage.
* Implement new features with effective monitoring and observability.
* Diagnose and resolve frontend issues using advanced debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Independently manage large-scale projects with multiple dependencies.
* Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver user-friendly solutions.
**Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, focusing on scalable and robust systems.
* Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with a sound understanding of frontend technologies and modern JavaScript(ES6+).
* A track record of producing high-quality, performant code in line with industry standards.
* Experience with integration and collaboration with various external platforms and services.
* Solid grasp of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and automated testing frameworks.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and debug complex issues.
* Adaptability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and manage changing priorities.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Self-motivated and capable of managing projects independently from start to finish.
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
**Compensation:**
$150,000 - 200,000 with significant equity in a high growth startup
