We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a
**Senior Frontend Engineer**. As a team member, you will play a crucial role
in developing Baseflow's web application, which aims to help people become
sovereign by acquiring new citizenships and residencies in forward-looking
countries.
Our ideal profile is a frontend engineer who possesses a strong attention to
detail and excels in a fast-paced environment.
### Your responsibilities
* Craft new user-facing features that are not only functional, but beautiful and intuitive. Working with our designer from the initial concepts to final UI components.
* Collaborate closely with the rest of the team to rapidly turn new feature concepts into live updates. Make sure we move fast without breaking things.
* Continuously iterate on the user interface and experience to take it to the next level. Use analytics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Also, ensure everything runs smoothly in any device.
* Design and implement frontend architecture that is both robust and scalable. Make technology choices that align with the project's long-term goals.
* Implement frontend security best practices to protect user data and prevent vulnerabilities.
* Share your expertise and passion with the rest of the team, maintaining a top-level crafting quality throughout the company.
### Requirements
* Alignment with the Baseflow mission and vision.
* Previous experience as a frontend engineer or a track record of building robust product interfaces or component libraries.
* Solid knowledge of React framework.
* Proficiency with CSS libraries.
* The ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity. Solid troubleshooting skills.
* Great communication skills. You’ll be part of the core engineering founding team and you’ll be involved in business-product discussions.
* An obsession with continuous product iteration and the ability to prioritize shipping while being able to see the bigger picture.
* Can work in America or Europe time zones.
* **Above all: openness to new technologies and be a fast-learner.**

* Proximity to Lisbon: We often do on-sites in Portugal 🇵🇹
* Interest in citizenship by investment, golden visas, flag theory, or geo-arbitrage.
* Experience working with E2E encryption.
* Experience in web3 development.
