**The Role:**
We're seeking a talented and experienced Mid to Senior Level Backend PHP
Developer to join our passionate team. If you're enthusiastic about cutting-

**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and Elasticsearch.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
* Design and implement efficient and reusable PHP code following best practices of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
* Optimize and enhance database structures, queries, and overall performance to ensure smooth data retrieval and storage.
* Work with Elasticsearch to design, implement, and maintain search functionalities, ensuring accurate and efficient data indexing and querying.
* Debug and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
* Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure reliability.
* Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve development processes and outcomes.
* Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
**Qualifications:**
* 8+ years of professional experience in backend PHP development.
* Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
* Extensive hands-on experience with Laravel framework.
* In-depth knowledge of MySQL, including database design, optimization, and complex query writing.
* Proven expertise in implementing and working with Elasticsearch for search and data indexing.
* Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
* Experience with version control systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience mentoring junior developers is a plus.
* A portfolio of past projects demonstrating your technical skills is highly advantageous.
