**About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join
our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background working in a
complex domain, and will have a proven track record of success. This role
requires a deep understanding of backend technologies, strong problem-solving
skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional
teams.
**Key Responsibilities** :
* Develop and maintain internal platform services and APIs to support various product features and business requirements.
* Incorporate in-house developed AI solutions into the product, including NLP/NER, LLMs, a medical knowledge graph and more.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth integration of backend services with user-facing applications.
* Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Identify opportunities for performance optimization, scalability improvements, and system enhancements within the integration and platform infrastructure.
* Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability and availability of integration services and platform components.
**Requirements** :
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience (8+ years) in backend development with expertise in building integrations and platform services
* Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, noSQL, AWS (or other cloud providers like GCP or Azure)
* Strong problem solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile enviornment
* Experience working in a complex domain, ideally U.S. Healthcare
* English fluency required
