**Required skill sets**
* Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on development experience in Node.js, Nest.js, and MySQL.
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, TypeORM/Prisma ORM, and Socket.io.
* Expertise in designing REST & WebSocket APIs
* Essential familiarity with Docker and AWS ECS
* Familiarity with dev tools such as Github, GitHub Actions
* Ownership of project deliverables
**Key responsibilities & duties**
* Develop web applications in collaboration with engineering managers, developers, and product managers.
* Implementing and maintaining end-to-end CRM APIs and backend services.
* Ensure optimal performance on backend servers. Backend code should be refactored as needed.
* Data protection, security, and storage solutions must be implemented effectively.
* Documentation of requirements, implementation and RCA should be a fundamental part of day-to-day work.
* Ensure all tasks and projects undergo comprehensive quality assurance checks for accuracy and completeness before handing over.
**What will you be doing in the first 3 months?**
1. Resolving bugs that have been reported
2. Enhancements to APIs and backend services requested by the product team
3. Backend service based on Nest.js should be refactored as needed
4. Database and service migration from MongoDB to MySQL
5. Alternative services should be substituted for KrakenD and Keycloak
**After 3 months**
1. Development of new features
2. Tuning the backend services to achieve higher performance
