Sunnova is looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with Python development
experience to join its dynamic team in Houston, TX. The position requires
designing and developing solutions for the enterprise on the AWS Cloud
platform. Candidates must have a proven track record for delivering quality
and scalable solutions. This requires the ability to develop and support
applications using AWS and python. The Senior AWS Cloud Python Developer
configures, develops applications by following best practices of AWS
throughout the project, tests, and debugs software, enhances the existing
applications or purchased from marketplace.
###### **Responsibilities:**
* Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or Engineering or Equivalent.
* Knowledge of delivering application/solution on AWS platform using Lambda, API Gateway, Batch, Cloudwatch, Glue, step function, API gateway Services etc..
* Should have strong experience with design, develop applications using python.
* Should have hands on experience using Terraform and Cloud formation (IAC Tools).
* AWS Automation (DevOps knowledge) preferred
* Participate in technical design discussions, influencing decisions about AWS Architecture.
* 5+ years of experience as a software developer using AWS and Python.
* Strong analytical skills possess strong written, and oral communication skills, and a willingness to “do whatever it takes” with high energy within a collaborative team environment.
* Experience with Agile/Scrum software development
##### **Minimum Requirements:**
* Education required: Bachelor’s Degree.
* Minimum years of experience required: 5 Years as AWS and Python Developer.
##### **Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in energy domain is a plus
