**About the role:**

At Causaly, we’re building a category defining product that transforms how our
users think and decide in biomedicine. We are looking for a Scientific
Solutions Consultant, Global Life Sciences to partner with our Account
Executives on customer engagements to drive towards sale. Causaly’s growth is
reliant on increasing our customer base and the Scientific Solutions
Consultant, Global Life Sciences will play a major role in our go-to-market
function, being involved in the sales cycle from first contact to close. The
Presales Solutions team provides scientific support to any client engagement
linked to a sales opportunity.

**What you’ll be doing:**

As part of the go-to-market function you will be working at all stages of the
sales process to identify and understand a customer’s needs, and be able to
think commercially and strategically about how Causaly adoption can accelerate
their workflows and de-risk their projects. You will tailor customer offerings
based on best-fit solution and be able to communicate the scientific,
operational, and business value of Causaly whilst being able to answer complex
scientific or technical questions. This is all to accelerate the sales cycle
as much as possible while maximizing Causaly adoption.

You will understand research scientists’ experience and the research tools
they use and have the ability to compare and contrast with the Causaly product
offering, and have the ability to run technical demonstrations and support
strategic discussions as needed.

Supporting technical discussions related to our offerings and considerations
as customers design their AI strategy and ecosystems will be required. These
conversations will vary across Digital and Scientific stakeholders and from VP
levels to individual scientists or bioinformaticians.

The Scientific Solutions Consultant, Global Life Sciences will provide
conference support primarily within North America with the opportunity to
support EMEA conferences as well. This role will also be expected to support
on-site meetings with existing and prospective clients.

**Requirements**

**What we’re looking for:**

* MSc or PhD in Biomedical sciences/life sciences.

* Post degree experience working in a customer facing role in a relevant industry.

* Solid understanding of drug discovery and development, basic research, and industry best practices.

* Solid understanding of technology and tools leveraged in the Pharma Research

* Experience with selling, positioning or implementing AI/ML software products

* Ability to build trust and credibility with scientific and technical client base.

* Commercial nous and ability to think strategically.

* Demonstrated ability to accelerate sales cycle and grow commercial opportunities as a trusted scientific advisor
