**Company Description**
Our client is a cloud-based data platform for subscription and engagement
businesses.
The platform, which is optimized for video, music, games, health, and
e-commerce, automates the continuous evaluation of usage indicators to produce
an always-on awareness about each user's propensity to remain a customer when
they are on your site/app.
This enables the app to be richer, self-sufficient, and more personalized.
The company is based in Cupertino, CA and led by serial entrepreneurs with
deep expertise in cloud, devices, subscriptions and funded by a tier 1 VC.
**Role Description**
This is a full-time remote role for an experienced salesperson who wants to
join a growing venture backed startup.
The Account Executive will be responsible for selling the the company's
platform to subscription-based businesses.
The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining
relationships with key decision-makers, identifying new business
opportunities, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets.
This is a role for a hunter. You are expected to self source opportunities.
**Qualifications**
* At least four years of B2B sales experience in sales or business development in the software industry
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets as an Account Executive, self sourcing opportunities
* Aptitude for cold calling, cold email, and prospecting
* At least 3 years in a B2B hunting role
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
* Solid understanding of subscription-based business models and customer engagement strategies
* Familiarity with CRM tools such as Apollo
* Ability to work independently and remotely
* Previous experience selling to Marketing, Growth, and Product team is a major plus in the e-commerce space
* Experience in the video, music, games, health, or e-commerce industries is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
**Compensation:** $90,000-$110,000 salary | $180,000-$220,000 OTE
