**About the Role**

Permutive is seeking a results-driven **Senior Programmatic Trader/Media Buyer
(Sales Director)** to lead our programmatic advertising efforts in the US. The
ideal candidate is a highly transactional seller with a deep understanding of
the programmatic landscape, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven
ability to drive successful campaigns for a diverse range of clients.

**About the Team**

Permutive possesses the most scaled and durable audience data on the open web:
Publisher 1st Party data. We've established a foothold in the advertiser
market with flagship customers like Dell Technologies and Sky. Now, we're
expanding our offering to replace third-party data on the open web and are
building a team to accelerate this initiative.

Your success will be measured by your ability to exceed media spend targets on
the Permutive platform across multiple agencies.

**What You Will Do**

* Report to the Chief Commercial Officer to increase the adoption and usage of Permutive audiences among agency trading teams.
* Qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline across agencies and brand advertisers.
* Maintain a high volume of activity, including outbound calls, emails, in-person sales and education sessions, and social selling, with a focus on generating new business and growing existing relationships.
* Proactively identify opportunities to expand agency client relationships and grow programmatic revenue.
* Become a trusted advisor to your prospects, taking a consultative approach to uncovering business needs for both the agency and its end clients.
* Serve as the primary programmatic expert for key media agencies and their digital planning and buying teams, providing strategic guidance, audience recommendations, and performance insights.
* Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape and evolving market/industry developments and challenges.
* Build strong, lasting relationships with clients based on knowledge, trust, transparency, and exceptional results.
* Stay at the forefront of industry trends and share knowledge with the team to drive continuous improvement.
* Build advocacy for Permutive and our audiences across agency customer teams, owning relationships with stakeholders up to the Head of Programmatic level.
* Attend industry conferences, events, and networking sessions.

**What you’ll need**

* Extensive experience of success in digital, mobile, and/or programmatic and/or audience data advertising sales, with strong existing relationships with media agencies and/or brands directly.
* A self-starter mentality, with a hunter approach, able to work independently yet collaboratively to build new business.
* Demonstrated success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable sales environment.
* Expertise in the programmatic ecosystem, including ad exchanges, DSPs, SSPs, and data providers.
* A passion for being an expert and evangelist on industry trends, building relationships, and gaining traction with other industry thought leaders.
* Deep understanding of audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and digital measurement, including MMM, econometrics, and attention metrics.
* Experience managing large budgets and complex campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
* The ability to structure, negotiate, and close advertising deals.
* A strategic mindset, supporting the team and management in creating best-in-class data and audience solutions for clients.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
* A track record of developing lasting relationships with key decision-makers at large media and advertising agencies.
* The ability to manage ambiguity in a changing ecosystem and adapt positioning and messaging to market needs.

**We 'd Be Particularly Excited If You Have**

* Worked directly for a Demand Side Platform (DSP).
* Experience with campaign planning and execution.
* Experience selling to agencies.

**What we are offering...**

We take a structured, objective approach to salary-setting, which is based on
marketing information, our compensation strategy, and your experience and
capability assessed through our interview process. For a typical candidate who
meets our requirements, we pay a base salary of $150,000.

**Additional compensation..**

If you join Permutive as a Sales Director with a base salary of $150,000 and
reach 100% quota attainment in a year, your OTE for that year will be around
$300,000. The true earning potential is significantly higher as your potential
to earn is uncapped, 100% quota attainment is the minimum expectation for our
Sales Directors.
