Job Description

Composable Analytics, Inc. (<https://composable.ai>) builds software that
enables enterprises to rapidly adopt a modern data strategy and robustly
manage unlimited amounts of data. Composable DataOps Platform is a full-stack
data operations platform with built-in services for data orchestration,
automation and analytics, accelerates data engineering, preparation and
analysis.

Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking Operational Support Engineers to join
our team. These positions are essential for providing 24/7 on-call operational
support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our platforms and
services. We need team members who are technically adept, collaborative, and
enjoy solving complex problems in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

* Provide 24/7 on-call operational support across different shifts to ensure platform stability and performance.
* Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions in real-time.
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
* Perform regular maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and backups.
* Ensure high availability and reliability of our services by following best practices in system administration and operations.
* Develop and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our support processes and tools.

Requirements:

* Experience as a software engineer, DBA, QA engineer or other technical role
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Availability to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in an operational support role, preferably in a 24/7 on-call environment
* Knowledge of system administration, networking, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure)
* Familiarity with data orchestration, automation, and analytics services
* Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, etc.)
* Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
