**Role** You will develop and improve our AI systems, including:
* fine-tuning large language models,
* developing model evals,
* developing and evaluating large systems of interconnected LLMs,
* dealing with hard engineering constraints like latency and expensive model inference,
**Impact:** Work directly with our founders
* Tackle unsolved research and engineering problems, including the hardest problem in the world relevant to LLMs in production.
* Help build our applied research organization.
**Qualifications**
* Evidence of exceptional ML engineering ability.
* Nice to have but not a must - Publications in top AI conferences.
* Experience working in complex and high-stakes ML domains
**Experience**
* 5+ years experience in ML engineering.
* Level is Principal or Staff depending on candidate.
