We’re searching for a skilled ** Senior Software Developer **with extensive
Python experience to join this distributed technology team.
**This position is 100% REMOTE. Qualified applicants must reside within the
United States. MUST be willing to work during CST hours.**
**What you get to do:**
* Play a pivotal role in redesigning existing applications and migrating from Ab Initio to Python and Oracle SQL
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders and a variety of internal teams, including architects, developers, and testers
* Hands-on designing, coding, and testing of Python applications
* Analyze test results and remedy code in a timely fashion
**Qualifications**
**What you need to succeed:**
* 5+ years of Python software development experience
* 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL
* Proven ability to translate requirements and code software applications based on specifications to enhance performance
* Previous experience working with Linux/Unix and Korn Shell
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills as you’ll be interfacing regularly with architects, developers, testers, and stakeholders
