We are seeking an exceptional AI Engineer Co-Founder to join our angel-backed
startup, Stesso, focused on revolutionizing how-to video instruction through
advanced AI technologies. As a key member of our founding team, you will lead
our AI development efforts, shaping the core technology that powers our
personalized content generation systems.
**Responsibilities:**
* Spearhead the development and fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs) for our specific applications in home improvement and DIY
* Design and implement advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) systems for text generation, summarization, and semantic analysis
* Develop AI-based video content analysis (VCA) techniques for object identification, action recognition, text detection, and audio analysis
* Create and optimize AI algorithms to compile extracted information into coherent, easy-to-follow guides
* Lead the implementation of prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques
* Architect and build scalable AI infrastructure using cloud-based services
* Collaborate with other co-founders to align AI development with business strategy and user needs
* Mentor and grow the AI team as the company expands
**Qualifications:**
* Deep expertise in developing and fine-tuning LLMs for specific applications
* Extensive experience in NLP techniques, particularly in areas like text generation, summarization, and semantic analysis
* Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
* Proven track record in implementing AI-based video content analysis techniques
* Experience with cloud-based AI services and building scalable AI infrastructure
* Advanced knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical solutions
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation in AI and home improvement
**Preferred:**
* Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
* Previous startup or leadership experience
* Publications or patents in relevant AI fields
